Wifredo Fernandez graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, became a Teach for America fellow in Washington D.C. and then came back home to Miami to start a business in 2011. With outside investment, he and three friends are creating the main stomping grounds for Miami entrepreneurs in the up-and-coming Wynwood neighborhood just north of downtown. They host many of the area’s biggest startup events and are quickly becoming the go-to spot for affordable office space and networking.
