Have you ever played Civilization? In the game, you’re discovering technologies that unlock new levels, one capability at a time. But not all innovations are equal. Better technologies of cooperation could unlock new levels of progress across the board. Opportunities for bright futures enabled by bio, nano, and computing technologies are now within our reach. Their proliferation also comes with risks and authoritarian attempts at control. Let's explore how cryptocommerce can enables decentralized, secure cooperation across human and computing entities. How can web3 technology unlock a third path: a paretotropian future of high technology, intelligence and freedom?

This meeting is an interactive discussion. It is also the soft launch of a Substack book and book club on this topic, titled Gaming the Future: Technologies for Intelligent Voluntary Cooperation by Allison Duettmann, Christine Peterson, Mark S. Miller, Foresight Institute.

After briefly presenting the main ideas and technologies of the book, we'd love your ideas:

1. What tools can humans use to cooperate better? think prediction markets, DAOs, dominant assurance contracts, split contracts, zkps
2. What tools can humans use to defend against risks from nukes, bio, nanotech? think encrypted sousveillance, multipolar defense pacts
3. What tools can humans use to cooperate peacefully with AIs? think computer security, AI DAOs, principal-agent alignment
