A fully decentralized and autonomous economy will need to include the Internet of Things(IoT) sensors that can persist for long periods of time by running on very low power and without an internet connection. A relayer node is needed to submit data and transactions to the blockchain on behalf of the sensors. FOAM Lite is a general purpose Ethereum radio relay node that anyone can build today to accelerate use cases in IoT. The hardware is accessible with low cost off the shelf components and the framework is flexible to use any configuration of tokens and smart contract applications. This is critical infrastructure for all of Ethereum and smart contract applications by unlocking new potential and powerful new use cases. At the workshop, you will learn how to build DApps on FOAM Lite and connect your sensors through the Feather board to transmit data to Ethereum.
