Catherine Bellah
Catherine Bellah advises companies and funds on operational challenges, particularly those relating to their political and philanthropic missions. She has business, government, and legal experience spanning asset management and venture capital, international and corporate law, and public service as DAP/Deputy White House Staff Secretary 2018-2020 and as Deputy General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2017 and the second half of 2020. Catherine also supports organizations and innovations creating opportunity, including serving as a Senior Advisor to the Milken Institute and its Center for Advancing the American Dream, and also selectively advises companies on legal, strategic and operational issues, including navigating global transactions and operations amid increased geopolitical risk. Catherine has a BA from the University of Richmond and a JD from the University of Texas. She is a native Texan and lives in Dallas.
